           MATTHEW NEILL - ACCOMMODATION MANAGER  

Matthew brings a wide variety of accommodation experience over the past 20 years. Along with an ongoing commitment to exceeding expectations of both guests and owners, Matthew has an eagerness to embrace new technology that will assure our business continues to be a dominant force in the ever changing holiday rental market. Matthew is an active member of the local community and has called the region home for over 15 years.  A passion for all things outdoors, in particular the ocean, Matt is often seen paddling out pre dawn in what he describes as 'the best possible way to start the day'. 

 

           MARILYN ARMSTRONG - ACCOMMODATION TEAM LEADER - AIREYS INLET

Marilyn has brought a vast array of experience to the Great Ocean Road Accommodation Centre which she has acquired from various past management and customer service positions. Marilyn offers her clients professional and friendly service and is extremely efficient in her dealings. With Marilyn, her clients always come first.

 

           JULIE BRIMACOMBE - SENIOR ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT - APOLLO BAY

Julie has been with us since 2002. Julie originally moved to Apollo Bay 15 years ago to own and operate a hospitality business. Prior to this Julie had been employed in the Real Estate Industry for 10 years. Julies experience brings a diversity of both customer care and strong business ethics to provide the ultimate in client satisfaction. With her willingness to listen to client needs she provides the expertise to take your investment to the next level.

 

           LIZ CURRIE - TEAM LEADER - LORNE

Liz moved to the coast 9 years ago and has worked in both sales administration and accommodation with in Great Ocean Road Real Estate during that time. Previously working in Events in Melbourne before her move to the coast ensured she developed client relationship skills and the ability to problem solve under pressure. Liz loves living on the coast with her young family and the mix of beautiful houses, amazing owners and lovely guests makes her experience working for Great Ocean Road Holidays the perfect life work balance.

 

          ROSEMARY KOVACIC - SENIOR ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT - LORNE

Rosemary has a deep connection with both our business and The Great Ocean Road. Spending her summer holidays in Lorne, Rose now manages holiday homes that her family rented themselves through Great Ocean Road Holidays. Moving to Lorne full time in 2011, Rose brings exceptional guest relation skills and of course local knowledge.  Efficient, helpful and reliable, nothing is ever a problem for Rosie.  A proud mother and active member of the Lorne community, Rose loves the beach lifestyle and tearing up the waves in her spare time.

 

           CHRISTINE HUNT – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – APOLLO BAY

Christine decided on a Sea change after a hectic lifestyle of city living. With a career path in Customer Service and Executive Secretarial Management she chose to utilise her knowledge and experience in the Accommodation Industry. She has managed Motels and Apartments all along the east coast of Australia from Melbourne to Townsville and in between.

 

           SOFIA HERRSCHILDT - ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – APOLLO BAY

Nearly four years ago I was travelling through Australia but found myself always coming back to Apollo Bay, this small beach town on the Great Ocean Road with its wonderful beaches and wild Otway ranges was just the perfect place for me. So I had the” hard” task to pick up the phone to the family one day to tell them I would no longer need to come back and that I found somewhere to call home now. I have had many friend and family come and visit and they all say the same, “how lovely it is to live in a place like this”. 

 

           LEITH WOHLERS – TEAM LEADER – APOLLO BAY

Leith moved to Apollo Bay in 2001 opening a business in the centre of town. After 10 years and 3 businesses, Leith decided to invest his experience and knowledge in a career change favouring the Accommodation Industry. He has worked in Accommodation all along the East Coast of Australia for the last 7 years before deciding to settle back in Apollo Bay and taking up his current position.

 

            ELISE DE SMET – ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT – ANGELSEA

In every role Elise has undertaken throughout her 20 year career, the positions have entailed going over and above to deliver for people and client needs. Dedicated and committed to ensure all that have dealt with Elise are left with positive experiences.
After relocating to the coast 13 years ago, Elise moved into client service roles in the home construction industry and this formed a basis of her devotion to property. Extensive knowledge of home presentation, building processes, maintenance, marketing and administration have provided great broad skills, making her a valuable asset to our team.
Residential real estate with a focus on property management and accommodation was a natural progression and she has spent 7 years building an exceptional reputation with her knowledge of Anglesea homes.
Outside of her profession, Elise is heavily involved in the Anglesea community with her family and is living the seaside dream balancing and continuing to nurture relationships.

 

SOPHIA THOMAS - ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT - LORNE

Sophia assists with processing bookings, guest information services and coordinating cleaning and maintenance. Living locally in Lorne she has got excellent knowledge of the area and can recommend bush walks, regional attractions, cafes and restaurants to help guests plan the perfect holiday.

 

JEANETTE BIDDLE - ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT - APOLLO BAY

Jeanette has been working with our company for 14 years. Beginning her career in Sales, Jeanette decided to then expand her knowledge by training as an  accommodation consultant 10 years ago.  Jeanette offers a wealth of professional and local knowledge to both her clients and her colleagues. Her family have lived in Apollo Bay since the 1880’s so she has seen many changes in the area over the years. Jeanette is very involved in the community as a Justice of the Peace, and currently Secretary of the local RSL branch, Legacy member looking after 20 widows in town and President of the Cemetery Trust.
 

SHELLEY ROBB - ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT - APOLLO BAY

Shelley began with us straight from leaving school in 1985. Shelleys wealth of experience in accommodation is unsurpassed. Shelley is also a third generation local and is always more than happy to share her local knowledge. Shelleys friendly manner always impresses her clients.
